Armed Suspects Rob Little Caesars Pizza, Shoot Employee

EL CERRITO (CBS SF) -- Two armed suspects robbed a Little Caesar's Pizzeria in El Cerrito and shot an employee Monday night.

The robbery at Little Caesars Pizza at 11299 San Pablo Ave. happened around 8:20 p.m., police said.

Two men went inside the business and demanded for money from an employee

One of the men was armed with a handgun and shot the employee, according to police.

The men fled with cash and were last seen running from the shopping area's parking lot, according to police.

The suspects are described as Hispanic men in their 20s or 30s wearing dark sweatshirts with their hoods covering their faces, police said.

The employee was taken to a local trauma center for treatment and is expected to recover.
