Armed Suspect Arrested, Weapon Recovered At Oakland's 12th Street BART Station

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- An armed suspect was taken into custody at the 12th Street BART station following a brief foot pursuit Thursday evening, according to an Oakland police official.

A weapon was recovered in the incident, Oakland Police Lt. Mike Weisenberg said via Twitter.

The incident briefly stopped trains at the station and caused delays of up to 15 minutes.

The delays were first reported around 6:50 p.m.
