Antioch Woman Facing Attempted Murder, Spousal Abuse Charges After Alleged Assault On 69-Year-Old Man

ANTIOCH (CBS SF) -- A woman was arrested in connection with an assault that left a 69-year-old man in critical condition last week in Antioch, police said Monday.

Antioch police said Lisa Parker, 43, is both the suspect and the person that initially reported the incident at 4:47 p.m. Thursday.

Parker allegedly told officers that she assaulted a man at a home in the 2300 block of Peppertree Way before she walked to a relative's house some distance away.

Officers found the male victim unresponsive at the home, police said. He was taken to a hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Parker was arrested on a number of counts, including spousal abuse, aggravated mayhem, attempted murder and causing coma or paralysis. She was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility.

No other information on the case was immediately available.
