Antioch Police Chase Of Stolen Car Ends In Multi-Vehicle Crash, Arrests

ANTIOCH (BCN) - Two men and a woman were arrested in Antioch early Wednesday morning after leading police on a chase that ended in a multi-car crash that sent one person to the hospital, according to police.

Police said that around 4:50 a.m., an Antioch officer attempted to pull over a stolen car but the driver sped away, leading the officer on a chase for several miles.

As the chase continued, the driver ran a red light at Lone Tree Way and Davison Drive and collided with three other vehicles in the intersection, police said.

The driver and two passengers got out of the car and fled on foot. Police said officers apprehended and arrested all three suspects a short time later.

An occupant of one of the other cars involved in the collision suffered an undisclosed injury and was taken to a hospital, police said.

No other injuries were reported.

Police have not yet released the names of the suspects in custody.
