Another Round Of Rainy Weather Enters Bay Area Forecast On Heels Of Powerful Storm

SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) -- Another round of rainy weather is heading toward the Bay Area just days after a powerful storm delivered a wallop of flooding and power outages throughout the region this week.

The KPIX 5 Doppler picked up light rain in advance of the robust cold front offshore.

Clouds started rolling in Sunday afternoon in San Francisco with rain forecast to hit the North Bay early Monday.

Showers will increase in intensity overnight, with most of the rain north of the Golden Gate by the peak of the morning commute.

The heaviest showers are due around midday Monday, with more rain after that, according to KPIX 5 Meteorologist Brian Hackney.
