A Lot More Rain Headed Our Way Over Next 10 Days

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - This week's storms have pushed the Bay Area well ahead of normal rainfall pace for this time of year and that trend will continue as we approach Christmas, according to national climate forecasts.

The Climate Prediction Center sees rainfall for the entire West Coast at least 50 percent above normal for the next 6-10 days, with the Bay Area sitting about 50 percent about normal for about the next two weeks.

The three month outlook shows rainfall totals projected at roughly 30 percent above average for most of the Bay Area:

As for your weekend, you are going to want an umbrella. Earlier this week it looked like we may get a break Saturday and Sunday, but the current 5 day forecast shows showers lingering to Tuesday or Wednesday.
