77-Year-Old Man Struck By Truck In Noe Valley Crosswalk

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — An elderly man was critically injured when he was struck by a truck in San Francisco's Noe Valley neighborhood on Monday night, police said
Tuesday.

The collision was reported at 8:47 p.m. at Dolores and 30th streets.

The 77-year-old pedestrian was walking against a red light when he was struck by a black pickup truck, according to police.

The pedestrian was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with a broken leg and major head trauma, injuries that are considered  life-threatening, police said.

The driver of the truck stopped at the scene and was not arrested,  police said.
