7-Eleven Clerk Stabbed After Asking Customer To Leave Pacheco Store

PACHECO (CBS SF) -- A Pacheco 7-Eleven clerk was stabbed by a customer he asked to leave the store early Thursday morning, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office responded to reports of the stabbing at the store at 5844 Pacheco Blvd. at about 1:30 a.m., according to the sheriff's office.

The clerk was found with multiple stab wounds and taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek. He is expected to survive his injuries, sheriff's officials said.

It appears the clerk was stabbed by a customer after he asked him to leave the store, according to the sheriff's office. Deputies searched the area for the suspect but couldn't find him.

Investigators believe the suspect is 37-year-old Aaron Goode.  Goode was wearing a black hat, a blue sweatshirt, blue jeans and was riding a bicycle during the stabbing, according to the sheriff's office.
