6-Year Old Posts Handwritten Plea For Giants Fans Not To Destroy Neighborhood If Team Wins Series Again
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A young Giants fan in San Francisco posted a handwritten note to his Mission District neighbors pleading for his fellow fans not to destroy his neighborhood If the team wins the World Series.
"I love the Giants. I want the Giants to win. Please don't hurt my neighborhood. I get scared. Joey 6 years old," the note posted outside Popeyes on 22nd Avenue read, according to Mission Local.
36 people were arrested when celebrations turned rowdy and violent following the Giants World Series win in 2012.
