6 Car Accident On Westbound Hwy 237 In San Jose Closes 2 Lanes

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A six-car collision on the westbound state Highway 237 in San Jose has shut down two lanes Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident was first reported at 6:48 a.m. and involved two vehicles on Highway 237 near Mathilda Avenue, according to the CHP.
Four other vehicles then collided into the two vehicles and blocked middle lanes on the freeway.

No estimate for when the lanes will reopen was available.

One injury has been reported with no indication of its nature.
