6-Alarm Brush Fire Near Vacaville Possibly Threatening Homes
VACAVILLE (CBS SF) -- A car fire ignited a fast-spreading vegetation fire Monday morning that could be threatening several homes near Vacaville.
Both the city of Davis and UC Davis fire departments were dispatched around 11 a.m. to assist with the car fire now burning about 30-acres of vegetation near Mix Canyon Road and Sky Ranch Lane .

Four air tankers and two helicopters, six engines and two inmate crews have also responded to the blaze.
On Sunday, a fire that burned over 325 acres in Vacaville was 100 percent contained within hours.
Voluntary evacuations of homes near the fire at Pena Adobe and Lagoon Valley parks were lifted around 6:15 a.m. Sunday.
No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.
