6.4-Magnitude Earthquake Rocks The Caribbean Near Barbados
BARBADOS (CBS SF) -- The U.S. Geological Survey says a 6.4-magnitude earthquake has struck the Caribbean nation of Barbados.
The quake's epicenter was located 72 miles northeast of Bathsheba, Barbados, and struck at a depth of 3.4 miles.
The quake struck at 8:16 a.m. Pacific Time and was mostly felt in Bridgetown and Holetown, according to the USGS website.
NOAA reports no tsunami is expected from this earthquake.
No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
