More Than 100 Flights Cancelled At SFO Due To Rainy Weather

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Rainy weather caused more than 100 flight cancellations at San Francisco International Airport Friday morning, as well as flight delays of more than an hour, an airport duty manager said.

As of about noon, 51 arrivals and 52 departures had been canceled at SFO, airport duty manager Larry Mares said.

Travelers whose flights have not been canceled are experiencing delays of about 30 to 60 minutes, with some flights delayed as much as 90 minutes, Mares said.

Mineta San Jose and Oakland international airports did not report any flight cancellations Friday morning.
