5-Year-Old Boy Trapped Under Treadmill Dies In Alameda Home

ALAMEDA (AP) -- Alameda police are investigating the death of a 5-year-old boy who died after being trapped under a treadmill.

The East Bay Times reports that the boy died Sunday at a Alameda home.

The circumstances of how the boy ended up under the treadmill and whether he lived at the home where the accident occurred were not immediately available.

Alameda police Lt. Hoshmand Durani says the investigation is ongoing.
