49ers Owner Tweets Offer For Tickets, Gets Roasted In Responses

SANTA CLARA (CBS SF) -- When an NFL team owner has trouble giving tickets away on social media, you know things are getting rough for the franchise.

San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York tweeted Friday that he had "a few tickets left for the game Sun.," and the responses rolled in, skewering York for "dismantling" the team.

The Niners ended up losing the game to the Green Bay Packers.

Jack Herrguth responded "@JedYork no one cares since you dismantled the team and coaching staff.  Keep losing with class!!  #49ers."

Ken Harrison responded with a jab at violence at Levi's Stadium, saying "@JedYork watch us lose by 40 and take the risk of getting jumped by some gang bangers in the parking lot or bathroom?  No thanks."

To be fair, there were plenty of fans who appreciated the offer and tweeted their desire to pick up the tickets.

It was not clear who received the tickets from York.
