49ers prepare to face Eagles for NFC Championship

SAN FRANCISCO -- The San Francisco 49ers are hosting watch parties in San Francisco and San Jose as well as in three international locations for Sunday's NFC Championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The game is taking place in Philadelphia at noon Pacific time Sunday. The watch parties will all start an hour before the scheduled kickoff of the game, with the winner between the 49ers and Eagles going to the Super Bowl on Feb. 12.

The 49ers, who defeated the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys in playoff games at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara the past two weeks, will also host a "Philadelphia Invasion" event on Saturday where they will raffle off two tickets and give away other items and prizes.

The San Francisco watch party will be at The Crossing at East Cut, 200 Folsom St., and the San Jose one will be at San Pedro Social, 163 W. Santa Clara St. There will also be watch parties in Mexico City and Monterrey in Mexico, and in Leeds in the United Kingdom, according to the team.

Fans can learn more and register their interest by visiting the "events" tab on the 49ers' official Facebook page.
