49er Vernon Davis Teaches Curling On The Arsenio Hall Show

(CBS SF) - San Francisco 49er, Vernon Davis stopped by the Arsenio Hall Show after there heartbreaking loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Davis spoke out about tough it was losing the NFC Championship and his thoughts about Seahawk Richard Sherman's rant. Davis said "…he's a good guy. He was just emotional. You can't get your emotions get the best of you. If you do, you just explode." When Arsenio Hall asked who he wanted to win, Davis answered with a loud "Denver, duh?"

It may shock some to know, but Vernon Davis is also the honorary captain of the U.S. Curling Team who is going to the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics. A sport that Davis began to enjoy over 3 years ago. Recently, Davis was tapped to become an honorary captain of the team to promote awareness of the sport. About why he said yes, Davis said "…if you can bring in an awareness (to the sport), what I'm doing is helping them. And that's is what it's all about. It's all about helping the next individual, the next person advance." He even gives host Arsenio a chance to flex his curling skills.
