3 Shootings In Oakland Over 5 Minute Span Wednesday Night, 5 People Injured

OAKLAND (CBS SF) – Five people were injured in three separate shootings Wednesday night in Oakland that occurred within minutes of each other, according to police.

Two people were shot just before 9 p.m. in the 1200 block of 88th Avenue, according to Officer Reginald Brown.

Just minutes later at 9 p.m., another two people were shot in the 1300 block of 60th Avenue, and a fifth was shot at 105th Avenue and San Leandro Street, Brown said.

All of the victims were taken to local hospitals in stable condition, Brown said.

No suspect information was available and Brown did not have any information on whether the shootings are connected.
