3 Men Found Shot Near Marina In Vallejo

VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- Three men were shot near the Vallejo Marina Monday afternoon, a police lieutenant said.

Police received reports of gunfire at 2:18 p.m. near the corner of Alabama and Butte streets, Lt. Herman Robinson said.

Officers arrived to find three men suffering gunshot wounds in the 800 block of Butte Street. Two of the men had gunshot wounds to their legs and one had a gunshot wound to his buttocks, Robinson said.

The three victims were taken by ground ambulance to two area trauma centers with gunshot wounds not considered life-threatening, Robinson said.

All three victims are Vallejo residents. Two are 20 years old and the other is 28 years old, Robinson said.

The men told investigators that they did not see who shot them and were just hanging out on the street there when they were shot, Robinson said.
