Lanes Reopen On Southbound I-880 After Multi-Vehicle Crash In Oakland

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- A multi-vehicle crash is blocking three lanes of southbound Interstate Highway 880 in East Oakland Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at 8:41 a.m. near the 98th Avenue on-ramp, CHP officials said.

So far, no one has been transported to a hospital and only minor injuries have been reported, including one victim with a bleeding foot, according to the CHP.

At least two vehicles sustained major front-end damage. Initial reports indicated the crash involved at least four vehicles, including a big-rig.
