3 Juvenile Gang Members Arrested For Vallejo Murder

VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- Vallejo police have arrested three male juveniles for the murder of a Vallejo man in August, a police lieutenant said.

The teens, ages 14, 6 and 17, are "validated" gang members in Vallejo, Lt. Joe Iacono said.

They were arrested Oct. 1 for the murder of James Souza, whose body was found around 9:15 a.m. on Aug. 14 on the railroad tracks under Sacramento Street by Yolo Avenue. Souza had been shot multiple times, Iacono said.

Police detectives believe the murder occurred on Aug. 13 between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The teens are not being identified because of their ages, Iacono said.
