ANTIOCH (CBS SF) -- Authorities are evacuating three houses in Antioch Wednesday afternoon after a car crashed into a house and broke a gas meter, a Contra Costa County Fire Protection District fire marshal said.

Fire crews responded at 2:46 p.m. to a report of a car into a house in the 2700 block of West Tregallas Road, Fire Marshal Robert Marshall said.

Marshall said the car struck a gas meter and broke it, prompting authorities to ask people in three residences to evacuate.
