25 Worst Passwords You Should Never Use (But Probably Do)

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- If you are like most people, you have more passwords than shoes. Well... maybe not shoes, but it does feel like everyday someone asks us to create a word no one in the world can guess, in an effort to protect ourselves online. That's a good thing. The bad thing is that many of those passwords are not only common, they are just no good.

SplashData, an online security company, released its annual list of the Worst Passwords of 2015. After examining more than 3.3 million leaked passwords, they are the ones most likely to "expose anybody to being hacked or having their identities stolen."

Holding down the two top spots for two years in a row are: '123456' and 'password.' If you are still using these, just stop -- or, go outside and pass out your credit card numbers and security codes, your mother's maiden name, and your social security number to 100 total strangers on the street.

Seriously. It's that dumb.
