20,000 Stroll Through Golden Gate Park In The 2015 AIDS Walk San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Thousands of supporters walked, strolled and strutted for six miles Sunday to raise money for AIDS/HIV research at the 2015 AIDS Walk San Francisco.

The annual event, held in Golden Gate Park, raised $2.27 million for Project Inform (PI) and 42 other vital Bay Area HIV/AIDS service organizations that help people living with HIV/AIDS survive.

This year's crowd was estimated at 20,000.

As they've done since the event's inception, dozens of CBS Interactive and KPIX News employees participated.
