2 Homeless People Stabbed Near SF's Embarcadero
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- Two homeless people were stabbed near San Francisco's Embarcadero early Monday morning, police said.
Officers responded to the incident at The Embarcadero where a woman was found stabbed between Piers 5 and 7, neat Coqueta Restaurant. A man who also injured stumbled along with friend to Sacramento and Drumm streets around 4:15 a.m., according to police.

A man and woman were transported to San Francisco General Hospital, San Francisco Police Sgt. Keith Pasquinzo said.
"The woman is in stable condition with two stab wounds—one to the back and one to the leg. And the male is critical with a stab wound to the chest," he said.
The man was coughing up blood as the ambulance transported him the hospital.
Pasquinzo said that both of the victims were uncooperative but that only a single suspect is being sought.
There were few witnesses, he said, but was hopeful that there would be more evidence of what led to the stabbings from security cameras inside the many shops and restaurants in the area.
