SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Police are seeking a driver who injured two San Francisco police officers Wednesday night during a traffic stop in the city's Sunset District.

At 8:50 p.m., officers pulled over a vehicle near Lincoln Way and La Playa Street after they suspected it was stolen, according to police.

When the officers approached the vehicle, the driver sped off, injuring the two officers. The officers were taken to a hospital to be treated for their injuries, which were not considered life-threatening, and were later released, police said.
