2 People Shot In San Francisco's Potrero Hill Neighborhood

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) – Two people were shot and one other person was injured in a shooting in San Francisco's Potrero Hill neighborhood.

San Francisco police spokesperson Officer Grace Gatpandan said it occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday at 25th and Wisconsin streets.

"We had a report of about 5-6 shots and there were people running up 25th Street. Arriving officers found three victims, two with gunshot wounds and one with a laceration to the hand. He was not shot," she said.  One person was shot in the head, although Gatpandan said it is too early to tell what condition the victims were in.

She said investigators have located several pieces of evidence at the scene and they are not actively searching for a gunman.

There are several units on scene and it is best to avoid the area if at all possible.
