2 People Robbed By Armed Man Near U.C. Berkeley Campus

BERKELEY (CBS SF) -- A man with a gun robbed two people early Sunday morning in Berkeley near the University of California at Berkeley, police said.

The two victims were walking at 12:41 a.m. near the intersection of Ellsworth Street and Durant Avenue when the man demanded some of their property.

The victims gave the man their property and he ran away, according to police.

The victims were not injured.

Police said the man looked as if he was in his late 20s with a slim build and light-colored skin. The man appeared to be Hispanic, police said.
