2 Pedestrians Hurt In Separate San Francisco Crashes

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- San Francisco police and fire are responding to a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in Visitacion Valley Thursday evening, according to a fire department official.

One female victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital following the 6:46 p.m. collision at Visitacion Avenue and Peabody Street, a fire department spokesperson said.

The collision was the second one involving a pedestrian this evening.

A 35-year-old female was injured in a collision at Harrison and Sherman streets at 6:38 p.m., the fire official said.

The woman was taken to Saint Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco with minor injuries.
