2 Men Hurt In Car-To-Car Shooting On San Francisco Freeway

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS/AP/BCN) -- Two men were shot Saturday afternoon on northbound Interstate Highway 280 in San Francisco, police said.

The shooting occurred at about 4:30 p.m. where I-280 meets U.S. Highway 101, according to police.

Two suspects described as black males in a vehicle shot two men in their 20s in a separate vehicle, police said. One man suffered a gunshot wound to his torso or leg and the other to his head or neck, according to police.

Both victims went to a hospital and the suspects left the area using the ramp from northbound I-280 to southbound Highway 101.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating a collision that occurred in the incident, according to police.
