2 Men Armed With Pepper Spray Try To Rob Mill Valley Gas Station

MILL VALLEY (CBS SF) -- Mill Valley police are looking for two men who tried to rob a gas station Monday afternoon.

One of the suspects had a tear gas or pepper spray device when he demanded money from the clerk of the Arco gas station and mini-mart at 789 Redwood Hwy. around 2 p.m. When the clerk refused, the suspects left, Sgt.  Paul Wrapp said.

The suspects were described as black males. One of them was wearing a blue beanie, gray jacket and silver aviator-like sunglasses, and the other suspect was wearing a darker jacket, gray hoodie and sunglasses, Wrapp said.

Police are trying to determine the type of vehicle used in the robbery attempt, Wrapp said.
