2 Killed, 2 Others In Critical Condition After 3 Separate Oakland Shootings

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Two people died and two are in critical condition in three separate shootings in Oakland early Sunday morning, according to the Oakland Police Department.

Police got a call at 1:19 a.m. reporting a shooting in the 2700 block of International Boulevard, Oakland police Officer J. Moore said. A person got shot while traveling in a vehicle with four other people.

The person is in critical condition, Moore said.

Three people suffered bullet wounds in another shooting at about 1:50 a.m. in the 1500 block of Broadway, he said. All three took themselves for treatment outside of the Bay Area and one died at a hospital, he said.

Another is in critical condition and the third is in stable condition, Moore said.

A third shooting occurred at about 2:20 a.m. in the 2000 block of Foothill Boulevard, he said.

Someone took the victim, a juvenile and Oakland resident, to the hospital where he died, according to police.
