2 Hurt In Explosion Near San Leandro Railroad Tracks
SAN LEANDRO (CBS SF) -- Authorities have been called to the scene of an explosion near railroad tracks in San Leandro late Tuesday night.
The incident took place near Hesperian Blvd. and Sweetwater Drive.
According to the Alameda County Fire Department, two people were burned in the blast and they were taken to the hospital. Authorities have not released the victim's names or their conditions.
The first firefighters on the scene called for a hazardous materials team to be sent out.
