2 Families Displaced By San Lorenzo Fire

SAN LORENZO (CBS SF) -- Two families were displaced by a fire that burned two homes in San Lorenzo Sunday afternoon, Alameda County fire officials said.

The fire was reported at 12:46 p.m. at Via Nueva and Via Lobos. It started in the back of a house on Via Nueva and quickly spread to another home on Via Lobos, according to the fire department.

Firefighters called a two-alarm response and had it under control within about 15 minutes, but the damage was enough to displace the two families who live there, fire officials said.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
