2 Bodies Recovered From Folsom Lake Where Boat Capsized

FOLSOM (CBS/AP) -- Two bodies have been recovered from a lake east of Sacramento, where a boat with four men on board capsized a week ago.

The California Department of Parks and Recreation said a citizen spotted one body on Folsom Lake Saturday. Soon after, a State Parks employee discovered another body in the water.

The El Dorado County Coroner's office was working on identifying the bodies, which could be connected to the May 10 speed boat crash on the lake.

The boat's high speed, gusty winds and poor visibility impeded rescuers' initial search for the four men, who are presumed dead.

The body of one of the men was found Friday near the mouth of the north fork American River.
