2-Alarm Brush Fire Shuts Down San Jose Expressway

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Firefighters are responding to the scene of a two-alarm fire in San Jose today, according to a fire dispatcher.

Crews responded to a report of a brush fire at 4:24 p.m. in an empty lot near the intersection of East Capitol Expressway and Quimby Road, the dispatcher said.

East Capitol Expressway between Quimby Road and Nieman Blvd. has been closed, according to the dispatcher.

There were no reports of any injuries as of 4:50 p.m.
