2.9 Magnitude Quake Rattles South Bay

MORGAN HILL (BCN/CBS SF) A preliminary 2.9 magnitude earthquake struck the South Bay late Monday afternoon, United States Geological Survey officials said.

The temblor struck at 4:05 p.m. and was centered 11.8 miles south of Morgan Hill.
