2.5 Magnitude Quake Rattles Fremont

FREMONT (CBS SF) -- A 2.5-magnitude earthquake shook the Mission Creek area of Fremont Wednesday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake was reported at 1:21 p.m. with the epicenter estimated to be near the intersection of Interstate Highway 680 and state Highway 238, according to the USGS.

There were no reports of any damage from the small earthquake.
