1st Known Act Of Drone Graffiti Vandalism Tags Massive Kendall Jenner Billboard

NEW YORK (CBS SF) - Drones are not just for creating amazing time lapses or stalking the Golden Gate Bridge anymore.

A well known graffiti artist has apparently rigged up a quad copter and put it to work defacing massive billboards in New York City.

The first taggings were spotted Wednesday morning on East Houston Street. A short time later, showing the defacing of the three story Calvin Klein ad and claiming it is the work of the artist KATSU.

KATSU had previously demonstrated how to attach a spray can to a quad copter, as reported last year by Wired Magazine. Here's the demonstration:

The first time it was used in public came out looking like this:

The vandal is associated with a number of other high-visibility acts of vandalism chronicled online, including video one titled "The Future of Vandalism."
