16-Year-Old Carjacking Suspect Arrested In Oakland

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Oakland police have arrested a 16-year-old male suspected of stealing a car during a carjacking, police said Wednesday.

Officers on patrol at around 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday saw a car matching the description of a vehicle that had been taken during a carjacking a week earlier.

The officers stopped the vehicle in the 3000 block of Nicol Avenue and arrested the 16-year-old driver.
