15 Arrested In Antioch High-Crime Area Sting

ANTIOCH (CBS SF) -- Police arrested 15 people Thursday during a proactive law enforcement detail targeting high-crime areas and high-risk parolees in Antioch, police said.

Antioch police partnered with the Pittsburg Police Department and the FBI to conduct the sting.

The operation lasted from about 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday and netted 15 arrests for weapons possession, counterfeiting and fugitive warrants, police said.

Officers said three loaded firearms were also seized during the operation.
