BAY POINT (CBS SF) --  A 12-year-old Bay Point shooting victim remains in "seriously critical" condition as police continue to search for a suspect, the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office said Thursday.

Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of shots fired in the 1000 block of Weldon Street in Bay Point at 8:53 p.m. on Wednesday. Deputies found a 12-year-old in front of an apartment with gunshot wounds.
