Hundreds Run In Fremont To Honor Marine Killed By Suspected Drunk Driver

FREMONT (KCBS) -- Several hundred family, friends, and fellow Marines ran in formation Saturday morning to honor Andrew Silva who was killed by suspected drunk driver in Fremont last Tuesday.

 

They were led by members of Silva's unit.

The group ran from Veterans Park to the crash site near Fremont and Dakota Road.

Runners paid $5 each toward a trust fund for Silva's wife and son. Today's run was part of a series of fundraisers to benefit the trust fund in Silva's name.
