Thousands Of Daly City, Colma, Pacifica Residents Without Power

DALY CITY (CBS SF) -- PG&E was working to investigate the cause of an outage that initially left thousands of customers without power in parts of San Mateo County Saturday night, a utility spokesman said.

The outage that initially affected 4,014 customers in Daly City, Pacifica and Colma was reported around 8:20 p.m., PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.

Power has since been restored to all the customers in Pacifica, according to Guidi.

As of 9:40 p.m., 1,273 customers in Daly City and about 20 customers in Colma were still without power, he said.

There is no estimated time of when power will be fully restored, Guidi said.
