1 Dead After Solo Vehicle Crash In Monterey County
CARMEL (CBS SF) -- At least one person died after a solo vehicle crash Saturday morning near the community of Carmel Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At 7:54 a.m., the CHP received a report of a vehicle that went off the roadway at Carmel Valley and Scarlett roads in unincorporated Monterey County, CHP officials said.
The vehicle reportedly went down an embankment just before crashing into a nearby shed, according to CHP officials.
No other information was immediately available.
