Rosenthal didn't pitch once for the Giants after he was picked up on July 21 for $4.5 million. He didn't play at all during the 2021 season after undergoing surgery for both thoracic outlet syndrome and a torn labrum in his right hip.
Both the #SFGiants and #Athletics signed Trevor Rosenthal and he never pitched for either of them.
