Missing Children And Mother Found, Yuba City Police Say
12 p.m. UPDATE: The children were found safe and sound this morning. Police said the children are being taken to Rideout Hospital to be evaluated.
The children and their mother were found at Feather River Blvd and Northfield Dr., according to police. Tina Baiz, the mother, is being questioned by police.
YUBA CITY (CBS13) — The Yuba City Police Department is searching for two missing children and their mother after she fled a hospital on Wednesday.
Police say Tina Baiz was at Rideout Memorial Hospital with her 11-month-old boy named Zeke on Wednesday night.
Police believe Baiz found out the child tested positive for drugs and left with the child. Zeke was still attached to an IV at the time.Baiz, Zeke, and her 2-year-old daughter have not been seen since she left.
Yuba City police say they have fully investigated ties that Baiz has in the Sacramento area and have been unable to find her.
Yuba City Police say that this is not an Amber Alert for multiple reasons. One being that Baiz has custody of her children and because police do not have information connecting her to a specific car.
