Wreckage Of Missing Cessna Found In Sierra

EL DORADO COUNTY (CBS13) - Authorities say wreckage of the plane that went missing over the Sierra Nevada has been found.

The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office says search crews located the wreckage a little after 4 p.m. Tuesday. It was located in a rugged area of the Sierra, southwest of Lake Schmidell.

The body of a man was found outside of the wreckage, the sheriff's office says. Authorities have not identified the body.

Tyrell Kremer, 52, of Wilton was piloting the Cessna from Idaho to Sacramento when it went missing Saturday.
