Woodland area crash off Highway 113 leaves 1 dead
One person has died in a crash off Highway 113 near Woodland early Wednesday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol says the crash was reported a little before 12:30 p.m.
Investigators say a Ford was heading southbound on SR-113 when it went off the right shoulder near County Road 25A and collided with a tree.

Officers are currently investigating a solo vehicle crash that resulted in a fatality on the right shoulder. There is no impact to traffic at this time.

Officers confirmed the driver of the Ford died in the crash. The CHP said it is not yet known if impairment played a factor in the crash.
Traffic on SR-113 has not been impacted, but CHP is urging drivers to stay alert for emergency crews in the area.
