Rancho Cordova Police Catch 'Porch Pirates' With Bait Package
RANCHO CORDOVA (CBS13) – Police say a couple of women stole the wrong package off of a porch.
The Rancho Cordova Police Department says they've placed some "bait" packages around the community to try and deter thieves this holiday season.
Wednesday, officers reeled in two women who were apparently none the wiser that the package they stole was hot. It is unclear in what neighborhood the arrest took place.
The women also had outstanding warrants, police say. Their identities have not been released.
